Watch companion

Metryvo runs on a Wear OS watch in two ways: the web app in the watch's browser, laid out for a round screen, and a small companion app that puts Metryvo on your watch face.

Requirements

• A watch running Wear OS 4 or newer.
• A browser on the watch, such as Samsung Internet.

Install the companion

The companion is in a closed preview and is not in the Play Store yet. During the preview it is installed on request. Write to support if you would like to try it.

Complications

Add any of these to your watch face. Each one opens Metryvo straight at the right screen:

• Pills: today's pill intake.
• Food: today's food diary.
• Add pill: today’s checklist, expanded and scrolled into view. Tap a pill to mark it taken, or use + to add one.
• Add food: straight to the food entry form.
• Metryvo: opens the companion itself.

Sign in with a QR code

Typing a password on a watch is painful, so you don't have to:

1. Open Metryvo on the watch. It shows a QR code.
2. Scan it with your phone's camera. Your phone opens Metryvo, where you are already signed in.
3. Approve the watch on your phone. The watch signs in within a few seconds.

Your phone must be signed in first. Open the app on your phone if it is not.
